Preventive Maintenance and Hygiene program
At Holland Park Family Dental Practice, we place an emphasis on preventive measures to help keep your teeth for life. We will perform a full dental examination (including dental x-rays where indicated) and discuss best oral hygiene practices to maximise your oral health. We have dental hygienists available for routine hygiene visits. We suggest a dental visit every six months to help maintain your teeth and gum tissue health. Dental visits for young children Preventive care starts early. We welcome toddlers for a fun visit! Fissure Sealants For the sealing of deep pits/grooves to prevent tooth decay. This is usually performed on newly erupted permanent teeth. Restorative Dentistry Tooth coloured fillings are available to fill a cavities in teeth. Tooth Whitening Whitening procedures are available to give you a brighter smile! Dental Implants Dental implants can replace a missing tooth/teeth. The implant is placed by a surgeon then an implant retained crown is placed over the implant it to mimic the missing tooth/teeth. Periodontal Treatment If periodontal disease is diagnosed, regular maintenance therapy can be carried out. In advanced cases of Periodontal disease, you may be referred to a Periodontist for further assessment and treatment. |
_Root Canal Treatment
Root canal treatment is a procedure carried out to preserve an infected tooth. Veneers Tooth coloured porcelain or resin based filling material can be used to cover/ mask discoloured, worn or broken down teeth in the smile line (anterior teeth). Crown and Bridgework Crowns and bridges serve to cover severely worn/broken down tooth/teeth. Orthodontic Treatment Also known as braces, orthodontic treatment is the best way to straighten crowded/crooked teeth in both children and adults. Extractions This is the process of removal of an infected or severely broken down tooth. Dentures Dentures are removable appliances that can be made to replace from one missing tooth up to a full set of missing teeth. |
